THINGS WE DO
ANIMAL TRAVEL ASSITANCE (EXPORTING PETS FROM AUSTRALIA)
Relocating overseas and want your pet to go too? Exporting pets is increasingly common - but it requires careful preparation, precise compliance, and careful timing. Evervet is here to help!
At Evervet we help by providing the veterinary services you’ll require (including health examinations, tests, treatments and certification). We don’t arrange flights, import permits or logistics — those are handled by you or a professional pet export company.
Why Use A Pet Export Company?
Each destination has its own rules and deadlines. A specialist pet export company can:
Confirm the destination’s requirements and timelines
Collate permits, health certificates and laboratory reports
Liaise with government and airlines
Reduce the risk of delays, rejection or quarantine
DIY is possible, but most families find using an export company reduces stress and costly errors.
At Evervet we strongly recommend you consider using one of the many reputable operators in this space.
What Evervet Does
Once you (or your export company) provide us with correct documentation and requirements for your destination, our vets can complete:
Health examinations and fitness-to-fly checks
Vaccinations and parasite treatments
Blood tests (e.g., rabies titre)
Preparation of health certificates and supporting paperwork
We will use the destination country’s rules (as provided to us) to guide what needs to be done.
If you’re organising THINGS yourself
Before we can proceed, please supply us:
Destination country and proposed departure date
Import permit (if required)
The official importing country requirements for pets
Evidence of any prior tests/treatments already done
The Manual of Importing Country Requirements (MICoR) lists importing-country rules
Please send all documents to hello@evervet.vet at least 24 hours before your appointment so our team can review them. If documents aren’t received in time, we may need to delay or reschedule your appointment.
Our pet export consultations are afforded extra time, to ensure all requirements are met. The fee for these consultations is $230 (inc GST). Fees for any additional tests and treatments are incurred as required.
