a little bit about me

Outside the clinic, Ruby is dedicated to staying active and enjoys the variety of challenges that come with triathlons. She also enjoys spending time in the water, often heading out to the coast to go surfing.

At home, Ruby’s life is ruled by her 10-year-old Cavoodle, Evie. This beloved pet goes by the nickname of “Evils,” which, as Ruby assures us, requires no further explanation for those familiar with demanding little dogs!

why i love being a vet?

I knew veterinary medicine was the right choice for me because I've always been fascinated by medicine, and that grew alongside my passion for animal welfare. It’s incredibly rewarding to honour that commitment by helping pets and their families every day.

But honestly, the best part of this job is the team. I love working with the amazing team on the floor; their support and collaboration make it an absolute joy to come to work and deliver the highest standard of care here at Evervet.
